Charges for Products

The MICIS subscription structure allows all users access to all products on the system. Users are charged only for those products they use. Charges for individual products are based on a product billing unit, currently valued at $0.20. Charges for products range from 1 to 3 units each. The value for each product is displayed on the web site.

Standard Account
Subscribers will have access to all products on the system, and will be charged for each product accessed. This is the best option for the occasional user.
Set-up Fee:	$25.00
Monthly Fee:	$1.00 (debited the first of each month)
Minimum Deposit:	$50.00 plus set-up fee

Value Plus Account
Set-up Fee:	$25.00
Monthly Fee:	$45.00 Debited the first of each month. Includes 450 Product Billing Units (PBUs) per month. Additional "PBUs" will be charged at regular rate up to a maximum of an additional $90.00 per month.
Minimum Deposit:	$270.00 plus set-up fee

Special Account

Users who require climate data in a non-standard format or need data delivered via means other than the standard MICIS interface (such as FTP or email) may establish a Special subscription. Charges for Special subscriptions are determined on a case by case basis depending on the type and amount of data required, data transfer and storage requirements, and staff time needed to establish and maintain the account. If you have needs that are not met by the standard MICIS interface, please contact the MRCC Service Office and we will be happy to discuss how we may accommodate your request.
