There are four types of costs involved with most transactions: data charges, service charges, media charges, and shipping charges. Data charges are assessed to recover the costs of basic database extraction. Service fees pay for the other costs of filling your order, including any customized data preparation, phone calls, invoice processing, and shipping by U.S. Mail. Media charges represent the cost of placing your data on a particular media as well as the cost of the media. Additional shipping charges are determined by the type of data transference that takes place. Some of the most common fees and charges are listed below.
