monitoring of climate and the required data bases, and assessments of the
origins of major climate anomalies. Monthly, seasonal, and long-lead (out

USDA National Water & Climate
Center
The NWCC is part of the Natural Resources Conservation Service, U.S. Department
of Agriculture. The mission of the NWCC is to lead the development and transfer
of water and climate information and technology which support natural resource
conservation.
The American Association
of State Climatologists
The AASC is a professional scientific organization composed of state climatologists
(one per state), directors of the six Regional Climate Centers and associate
members who are persons interested in the goals and activities of the Association.
